The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex twice world boxing king Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is really proceeding.
