Former Doctor Faces Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Prosecutors report that a ex- doctor has been charged with performing assaults against 38 individuals who were under his care.
The Serious Allegations

One deputy chief CPS official commented, “Legal teams have worked at length to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, meticulously examining the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
The Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into reported sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.
